TVS launch the Raider 125 at Rs 77,500

TVS have a great taste when it comes to the design element side of things and they have showcased that more times than often. TVS is now very boldly applying that great taste across all its two-wheelers as it launched its sports commuter, the TVS Raider 125.

The TVS Raider 125 will have a starting price of Rs 77,500 for the drum brake variant. The disc brake variant of the Raider 125 will come with a price tag of Rs 85,469 (ex-showroom Delhi).

A 124.8cc three-valve air-cooled engine on the Raider 125 produces 11.5PS at 7,500rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. This fuel-injected engine is mated to a five-speed transmission. The Raider 125, according to TVS should return a fuel economy of 67kmpl.

The TVS Raider 125 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.9 seconds. A 5-step adjustable mono-shock suspension and low friction front suspension take care of the handling. The new bike also rides on massive broad 17-inch alloys.

The visual appearance of the TVS Raider 125 is what makes this bike really stand out. The sharp headlamp, sleek tank, sharp belly-pan, and split-seat setup are the main takeaways. The simple LED taillight is another one-of-a-kind feature at this price point very frequently.

The new TVS Raider 125cc features a sleek tank profile as well as trademark design elements on the LED headlight and LED taillight. A reverse LCD digital speedometer with riding modes is standard on the TVS Raider, as is an optional 5-inch TFT cluster with Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Assist on the TVS SMARTXONNECTTM version. The bike has a sporty appeal thanks to the colour schemes and specifically developed textures and finishes.

Under-seat storage, a side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, a helmet reminder and an optional USB charger are all included with the new TVS Raider 125cc.
