TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV launched at Rs 1.99 lakh

The TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV has been launched at Rs 1.99 lakh and it the new adventure bike from TVS that will lock horns with the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 250 Adventure and Yezdi Adventure to name a few

- Gets a 299.1CC single-cyl engine that pushes 36 PS and 28.5 Nm
- Gets a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch

The TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV is powered by an all-new 299cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine called the RTX D4 that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine pushes 36 PS at 9000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. It also gets a slipper clutch, promising smooth shifts. Other mentions include dual oil-pump, dual jacket-cooling, dual separator breather and dual overhead-cam.

It terms of cycle parts it gets upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear monoshock, rides on 19-inch wheel up front and 17-inch at the rear and both come shod with dual-purpose tyres, and disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS (320 mm rotor up front and 240 mm rotor at the rear).

The tech nannies include four riding modes – Tour, Rally, Urban and Rain, a quickshifter, full colour TFT dash with Bluetooth tethering, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, map mirroring, rally ABS, call alerts, twin LED head lamps, ride-by-wire, bi-directional quickshifter, TPMS, dynamic headlamp control, switchable rear ABS, and traction control to name a few.

The company has launched the bike at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 lakh for the base variant, the top variant will set you back by Rs 2.14 lakh and the BTO variant will cost you Rs 2.29 lakh.
