Triumph Scrambler 400 XC announced

The new Triumph Scrambler 400 XC has been announced and it is priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available at all authorised dealerships. The bike continues to use the 400CC TR series engine mated to a six-speed gearbox, the engine pushes 40PS at 8,000rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The bike runs on 19-inch wheels up front and 17-inch wheels at the rear, these are cross spoke rims with Adventure focused tubeless tires. Suspension duties are handled by USD front forks and rear Monoshock with 150mm travel each. Other noteworthy mentions include engine guard, sump guard, front raised fender, windshield, adjustable clutch and brake levers to name a few.

The rider aids include traction control, off-road ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, all LED lighting, torque-assist clutch, key with immobilizer and USB charging socket. The bike is offered in three colours - Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and  Vanilla White.

The bike is offered with a 5-year standard warranty, inclusive of 1 year of Roadside Assistance (RSA). Customers also have the option to purchase an extended warranty for up to 10 years and choose from periodic, comprehensive, or part Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) packages.
