Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella showcased in India

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella has been revealed by the company in India and booking are now open. The twin sibling of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara offers a claimed range of 543 km.

- The Urban Cruiser Ebella will be offered with two battery packs
- The motor produces a torque of 189 Nm for all variants
- Will be available in three trims - E1, E2 and E3

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will be offered with two battery packs - a 49 kWh battery pack that powers a motor pushing 144 PS and 189 Nm of peak torque. And a 61 kWh battery pack with 174 PS and 189 Nm of peak torque. The former claims to offer a range of 543 km (ARAI) on a single charge and the smaller battery pack is capable of 440 km on a full charge.

The interior features include a sizeable 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.1-inch digital driver's dash, a JBL sound system, wireless smartphone charger, leatherette upholstery, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver's seat, and 12-colour ambient lighting among others.

The safety suite on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella includes seven-airbags, disc brakes for all wheels, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, acoustic vehicle alerts system, and front parking sensors to name a few. The electric SUV will also come equipped with Level 2 ADAS suite which includes lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control to name a few.

In terms of exterior features, the Urban Cruiser Ebella segmented LED DRLs placed above the LED headlamp unit, the headlamp unit flanks a blacked out panel in the front, air curtains at the edge of the lower bumper, pull out door handles, body cladding around the vehicle, rear door handles integrated withing in C-pillar, a light bar at the rear and segmented taillights.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will be offered in five monotone and four dual tone colourways, the dual tone options include Enticing Silver, Café White, Land Breeze Green and Sporting Red. And the monotone options include Enticing Silver, Café White, Bluish Black, Gaming Grey and Sporting Red.

Upon launch the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will lock horns with the likes of the Vinfast VF 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and Tata Harrier EV to name a few.
