Tata Nexon XM+ (S) variant added to the SUVs line up, starting from Rs 9.75 lakh
With the introduction of the new XM+ (S) model, Tata Motors has expanded the Tata Nexon line. Both manual and automatic gearbox choices are offered for this new variant's petrol and diesel powertrains. At launch, the Nexon XM+ (S) is available for Rs 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new XM+ (S) variant sits between the XM (S) and XZ+ and offers a number of extra amenities, including an electric sunroof, a 7-inch infotainment system with apple car play and android auto, a cooled glove box, rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers, and auto headlights, among others.
The XM+ (S) is offered in 4 colour choices - Calgary White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red and Foliage Green.
Mechanically, the 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron engine generates 118PS and 170Nm of torque. The diesel variant, on the other hand, is propelled by a 1.5-litre turbocharged Revotorq unit that produces 108PS and 260Nm of torque. Both engines come with manual and automatic transmission choices.
The petrol version of the new XM+ (S) variant starts from Rs 9.75 lakh and the XMA+ (S) is at Rs 10.40 lakh. The diesel version starts at Rs 11.05 lakh for the XM+ (S) while the XMA+ (S) variant is priced at Rs 11.70 lakh
