Tata Nexon EV Prime introduced with regen-modes
The Tata Nexon EV Prime, which Tata Motors just unveiled, is simply an improvement of the electric vehicle's regular model. The Nexon EV Prime model has more features than the Nexon EV Max thanks to the Prime designation.
The Tata Nexon EV Prime receives several regen modes, cruise control, smartwatch connection and i-TPMS as feature upgrades. Through a software update, these additional functions will also be made available to existing Nexon EV owners. With effect from July 25, this update will be accessible at the company's service centres.
According to Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., "The Nexon EV has captured the imagination of the entire nation and has consistently led the way in the electric vehicle segment since its launch. It is the default choice for EV intenders with a market share of over 65 percent. With the Nexon EV Prime we expect to further strengthen our strategy of keeping our product offerings New Forever. Further with this software update to current owners we are setting new benchmark of what customers can expect as part of Tata EV ownership experience.
A 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that generates 129PS and 245 Nm of torque powers the Tata Nexon EV Prime. According to the manufacturer, the car can reach 100 kmph in 9.9 seconds. Two driving options are also available: Drive and Sport. The Tata Nexon EV Prime assures a 312km range n a full charge.
The Nexon EV is available in three colours, Signature Teal Blue, Glacier White and the recently introduced Daytona Grey. The Nexon EV Prime range starts at Rs 14.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.84 lakh (ex-showroom)
