Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition launched in India, prices start from Rs 17.50 lakh
The Jet Edition, a new special edition of Tata Motors' SUV lineup, was unveiled a few days ago. The Nexon, Harrier, and Safari models were the cars to get the Jet treatments first and now the Tata Nexon EV is added to the lineup as well. The Jet Edition cars, according to Tata Motors, are modelled after business jets with the intention of providing a more lavish and luxurious experience than the standard variants.
The Jet Edition is available in both, Nexon EV MAX and Nexon EV Prime. Prices start at Rs 17.50 Lakh for the Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition.
The special dual-tone paint job in a new shade of Starlight that Tata calls Starlight is the new addition to the Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition line that catches your eye. The car effectively mixes a platinum silver ceiling with an Earthy Bronze body colour. One can even believe the roof is completed in a white tone depending on the lighting in the area or excessive brightness.
The Tata Nexon and Nexon EV receive Jet Black alloy wheels, matte black writing on the boot lid, and silver skid plates decorating the front and rear bumpers to contrast the new paint job. Roof rails in Granite Black and belt lines on each side in Satin Granite Black are also available. In contrast to the Dark Chrome EV badging, which is exclusive to the EV model, it also receives a 'Jet' badge on the front fender.
A mild interior upgrade for the Nexon EV Jet Editions includes a dual-tone interior of Oyster White and Granite Black, a bronze finish for the dashboard, with the latter also applied to the door handles. All five seats are upholstered in an Oyster White hue with contrast bronze stitching; only the front row headrests feature 'Jet' embroidery.
