Tata Altroz iCNG official brochure leaked revealing key details
A couple of weeks ago, Tata Motors officially launched bookings for the Altroz iCNG for a minimal sum of Rs 21,000. Deliveries are scheduled to begin later this month. The Altroz i-CNG brochure has now been leaked ahead of the pricing announcement, unveiling new features that will feature on the upcoming hatchback.
The Altroz CNG will be available in six variants, according to the leaked brochure: XE, XM+, XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+ (S), and XZ+ O (S). The XM+ (S), XZ+ (S), and XZ+ O (S) models will all include an electronically adjustable sunroof with a voice assist option. As a result, the Altroz CNG will be the first CNG-powered hatchback with a sunroof.
A 7.0-inch touchscreen, digital driver's display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 16-inch alloy wheels, an engine start/stop button, automatic temperature control, a height-adjustable driver's seat, leatherette seats, rear AC vents, and a front centre armrest are among the other amenities.
The Altroz CNG will come powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. While this engine generates 88PS and 115Nm of torque, it will produce 77PS and 97Nm of torque in the CNG mode. Plus, it will come with a single ECU and micro switch function.
Tata Motors has cleverly divided the one CNG into two smaller tanks and placed them beneath the floor in the Altroz CNG. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, and stability control are standard on the Altroz. The Altroz may also be started entirely in CNG mode, just like the Tiago and Tigor CNG versions.
