New Tata Altroz iCNG: Variants explained
Tata recently expanded its CNG vehicle line-up with the new Altroz CNG. The CNG-powered hatchback packs a new twin-cylinder CNG tank setup, new features, and relatively good boot space for a CNG car. The Altroz CNG is available in six different variants, starting from XE, XM+, XM+ (S), XZ, XZ+ (S), and to the range-topping XZ+0 (S). That said, here we are going to tell you everything you need to know about each variant and its feature-list.
Tata Altroz CNG: Engine, Transmission, and power outputs
Powering the Altroz CNG is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine producing 73.5PS and 103Nm of torque in the CNG mode. Whereas, this unit makes 88PS and 115Nm in the petrol mode. It comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
