Suzuki Victoris compressed biogas guise breaks cover at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Suzuki has showcased the Victoris Compressed Biogas (CBG) variant at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show 2025, the interiors have not been revealed and it gets a exclusive decals on the bonnet and the profile which denotes as the CBG guise.

The Suzuki Victoris showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 shares a lot with its ICE counterpart, it gets the under-floor dual-cylinder setup that does not compromise on the bootspace like conventional CNG configuration. The dimension of the Victoris is the same as of the ICE guise, it is 4,360mm long, 1,795mm wide, and 1,655mm tall.

The Victoris that is sold in India is offered with two engine options - a 1.5-litre petrol smart-hybrid engine that can be had with a CNG configuration as well, and another 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid engine that comes mated to a Lithium-ion battery pack. The 1.5-litre smart-hybrid petrol engine can be had with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The engine pushes 103.06 PS and 139 Nm of peak torque. The same engine with CNG configuration is offered with a five-speed manual transmission and pushes 100.6 PS in petrol mode and 87.8 PS in CNG mode, the torque produced in petrol mode is 137.1 Nm and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode.

The strong-hybrid engine pushes 92.45 PS and 122 Nm of peak torque, this engine comes mated to AC  Synchronous Motor that is powered by a Lithium-ion battery pack, the motor produces an additional 80 PS and 141 Nm of peak torque.

In terms of features, the Victoris gets cruise control, keyless entry, paddle shifters, drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), a 10.1-inch infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Dolby Atmos sound system, reverse parking camera, 6-airbags, TPMS, and ABS with EBD to name a few.

The Suzuki Victoris CBG guise has been showcased as a prototype at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show 2025 and no information about the commercial launch has been disclosed.
