Skoda Auto India records biggest year with 37,568 cars sold in 8 months

After experiencing record-breaking sales for months, a quarter, and the first half of 2022, Skoda Auto India has now shattered another sales record and this time it has sold the most cars in India in its more than 20-year history.

In August 2022, the business sold 4,222 cars, an increase of 10 percent over the 3,829 cars it sold in August 2021. With more than a quarter left in 2022, Skoda Auto India has sold 37,568 vehicles overall thanks to these vehicles. The most significant year for Skoda Auto in India. The company's previous record was 34,678 units sold in 2012.

With the introduction of India 2.0 in 2018, the groundwork for this accomplishment was established. At the time, India 2.0 was a ground-breaking initiative that included entirely new Made-for-India products built on Made-for-India platforms as well as a comprehensive revamp of Skoda Auto India's business process, including additional customer touchpoints and drastically lower ownership and maintenance costs.
