After unveiling the custom-painted Motoverse Edition in late November, Royal Enfield has officially debuted the factory version of the Shotgun 650 for global markets. Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheetmetal Grey are the four distinct colours the Shotgun 650 will be available in. The new motorcycle will be available in global markets beginning early next year.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Highlights

The Shotgun 650 is a factory-custom bobber based on the Super Meteor 650, but with a slightly different design and enhanced ergonomics, according to Royal Enfield. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has quite a versatile design and can be easily transformed from a single-seater to a double-seater.

The Shotgun 650 doesn't only surf the wave of the future; it adds a retro-futuristic element to it. It's a motorbike that respects its tradition while embracing technology, with an LED headlight illuminating the way and a digi-analogue instrument cluster keeping the rider informed.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Engine

It shares the Super Meteor 650's engine and main frame, so you get the same 648cc parallel-twin motor with the same 47PS and 52.3Nm. The Shotgun has more upright sitting because of a flatter handlebar and larger mid-set footpegs, among other differences.

The Shotgun 650 has a stated mileage of 22kmpl. It has a 13.8-litre gasoline tank, which is 1.9 litres less than the Super Meteor. According to the specs, the Shotgun has a higher 795mm seat, a shorter wheelbase, a shorter overall length, and is 1kg lighter, weighing in at 240kg.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Features

The motorbike will be equipped with a 100/90-18 front tyre and a 150/70 R17 rear tyre, both encased in alloy wheels on both ends. Braking duties will be handled by a 320mm front disc and a 300mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as standard. Showa separate function USD forks and Showa twin shocks are standard on the Shotgun 650. Front and rear suspension travel is 120mm and 90mm, respectively.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Pricing

Notably, the prices of the motorcycle could start from Rs 3.30 to Rs 3.50 lakh. The prices of the INT 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650 start from Rs 3.02 lakh, Rs 3.18 lakh and Rs 3.54 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively.
