Royal Enfield Rentals introduced in India
Royal Enfield has introduced a new initiative in India, called Royal Enfield Rentals. With this, motorcycling enthusiasts and Royal Enfield fans will be able to rent and ride various motorcycles sold by the two-wheeler manufacturer across the country. For this, the brand has collaborated with rental operators and this programme covers 40 motorcycle rental dealers in 25 cities, offering easy access to over 300 Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Royal Enfield has chosen 25 major cities to provide rental services. These cities mostly include prominent destinations for long-distance rides and key starting points for large group or solo rides. The Royal Enfield Rentals will be available in New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahemdabad, Bhuntar, Bir Billing, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Dehradun, Manali, Leh, Shimla, Rishikesh, Nainital, Haridwar, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, Siliguri, Hyderabad, Kochi, Goa, Thiruvananthapuram, and Visakhapatnam.
As a part of this initiative, the bike maker is likely to provide almost all the motorcycles in its line-up on rent depending on the city, including the Himalayan 411, Scram 411, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Classic 350, Bullet 350, Interceptor 650, and Continental GT 650, among others. Since Royal Enfield has partnered with rental services, they will also offer old RE motorcycles, such as the Classic 500, Thunderbird 350, Thunderbird 500, Thunderbird 500 X, and Thunderbird 350 X, according to the official Royal Enfield website.
"Our extended family of motorcycle rental and tour operators and mechanics have played a critical role in shaping our culture and mission of pure motorcycling. Alongside our efforts, the people of this extended ecosystem have built wider access and aspiration for our motorcycles. Our new Royal Enfield Rentals initiative will enable access for riders to rent a motorcycle anywhere in India, and it will also enhance the level of support we offer to all motorcycle rental operators who represent the backbone of our ecosystem across tourist and rider destinations everywhere," said Mohit Dhar Jayal, Chief Brand Officer, Royal Enfield.
In other news, Royal Enfield is all-set to unveil the new Himalayan 452 in India in the coming months, likely in November. Ahead of its imminent launch, the important details about its engine displacement and dimensions have been surfaced on the internet. As per a leaked document, the upcoming all-new Himalayan 452 will come powered by a 451.65ccm single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 40PS of maximum power at 8,000rpm.
