Here are the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the fetching new grey colour and the new Royal Enfield Classic 500 in matte black. The new Royal Enfields are priced at Rs 1.59 lakh and Rs 2.05 lakh on-road Chennai respectively approximately Rs 10,000 more than the other Classics. It is extremely interesting that Royal Enfield continues to sell the other Classics without the mechanical updates that are already deployed on these models. In time, however, we expect Royal Enfield to add these to all the Classic models and the prices will rise. Bookings for both the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey and the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Stealth Black will start from September 18, 2017 while deliveries are expect to commence shortly thereafter. Royal Enfield has not added ABS to the list of the equipment available in India, continuing to reserve the ABS models for exports. But we expect that to change when ABS becomes mandatory equipment from April next year - another price rise should come with that. Royal Enfield, of course, are also reportedly in the closing stages of acquiring Ducati. And of course, the fans of the Himalayan will be happy to know that the deliveries of the fuel-injected BSIV model have just started.
