Royal Enfield has introduced the Moroccan Odyssey 2026. This will be the brand's first major motorcycling expedition in Africa and is aimed at riders looking for a long-distance adventure.

The 12-day ride will take place from March 27 to April 4, 2026, covering close to 2,000km across different regions of Morocco. Participants will ride the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and the cost to take part is Rs 2.50 lakh per rider, which includes the motorcycle for the entire journey.

The expedition will start in Marrakech and head into the High Atlas mountains, climbing the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which rises to 2,260 metres. From there, riders will reach Ouarzazate, often called the "Door of the Desert" due to its location and importance in films shot in the region.

After Ouarzazate, the route moves deeper into the desert, ending up at the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, where riders will experience the Sahara landscape. The journey then turns north, passing through the Middle Atlas mountains, pine forests and wide plateaus.

The later part of the ride includes stops at Fes, one of Morocco's oldest cities, and Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted streets and mountain setting. The expedition will end in Rabat, where the road meets the Atlantic Ocean.

According to Royal Enfield, the Moroccan Odyssey is designed for riders who want a tough, immersive adventure and the kind of bonding that comes from sharing nearly 1,820km of riding through varied and demanding terrain.
