Raptee Energy, the Chennai-based electric vehicle (EV) startup, has reached a significant milestone with the rollout of its first production-ready motorcycle from its manufacturing plant. With this, the assembly line in Chennai is now fully operational, as Raptee Energy is expected to launch its first offering within this quarter. The initial batch of motorcycles will undergo testing and homologation processes, including ARAI certification and on-road safety checks, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and performance.

Further, Raptee plans to inaugurate its first store within its Chennai facility. This store will not only serve as a point of sale but also provide consumers with a comprehensive brand experience, including a tour of the manufacturing facility to witness the motorcycles being crafted, the company said.

Raptee Energy's motorcycles claims to feature a range of patented technologies, including a high-voltage performance-oriented drivetrain, charging via existing CCS2 standards, and advanced driver assistance systems for enhanced safety. With its Chennai manufacturing facility capable of producing 1,00,000 units annually, Raptee is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for sustainable transportation solutions.
