German sports car marque Porsche will begin deliveries of the Cayenne facelift in India in July 2023. The Cayenne facelift is available in two versions: the entry-level Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe, with prices starting at Rs 13,561,000 and Rs 14,185,000 (both ex-showroom), respectively. Notably, the brand has already opened reservations for the SUV in the country.

Porsche Cayenne facelift: Design

The mid-cycle facelift has brought a wide range of changes to the Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe. The SUV comes with a new bonnet, redesigned front and rear bumpers, angular new headlights, signature daytime driving lights, re-profiled taillights, and a new light bar running across the width. While Porsche offers new alloy wheels in different sizes, such as 20, 21, and 22-inches, the base-spec Cayenne facelift gets a set of 20-inch wheels. New paint options include Algarve Blue Metallic, Montego Blue Metallic, and Arctic Grey.

Porsche Cayenne Facelift: Interior

Porsche has redesigned the dashboard of the Cayenne facelift and it now features new displays and a few other tweaks. The SUV comes with a new 12.6-inch curved driver display, a 12.3-inch central information hub, and an optional new 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.

Further, the interior features an all-black scheme with a partial leather upholstery as standard. Other material and colour choices are available as optional extras. In addition, the centre console is made of a black glass panel that houses mechanical switches and touch-capacitive buttons with haptic feedback.

Other fresh additions to the interior include a drive mode selector, a 911-inspired steering wheel, a toggle-style gear selector, an air quality system, and four USB Type-C ports (front and rear).

Porsche Cayenne facelift: Features and Equipment

The entry-level Cayenne facelift comes with Matrix LED headlights, TPMS, eight-way power adjustable comfort front seats, adaptive air suspension with levelling system and height adjustment, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), auto dimming IRVM and ORVMs, multiple airbags, four-zone temperature control, ambient lighting, a 10-speaker, 150-watt sound system, and a wireless charging pad, among others. The Cayenne Coupe facelift further gets a sport chrono package, a fixed panoramic sunroof, and eight-way electric sports seats. Porsche also offers a raft of optional features.

Porsche Cayenne facelift: Engine, transmission, and power output

Powering the entry-level Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe is a tweaked 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine producing 353PS and 500Nm of torque - an increase of 13PS and 50Nm than its predecessor. It comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. With this, it can achieve zero to 100kmph in 5.4 seconds and provides a top speed of 248kmph.

The 4.0-litre V8 Cayenne S with 474PS and 600Nm of torque, 659PS Cayenne Turbo GT facelift is a 4.0-litre V8 generating 659PS, and 470PS Cayenne E-Hybrid are not available in India at the moment.
