Polaris launches two off-roading circuits in Bengaluru
Off-road enthusiasts and ATV owners rejoice. Polaris India has unveiled two new off-road tracks in Sarjapur and Yeshwantapur at Bengaluru. Those seeking adventure can now ride and experience the powersport vehicles made by Polaris on these very tracks. While the Sarjapur track encompasses 30,000 square feet of land and is aimed at the experienced ATV rider, the Yeshwantapur one which is only 20,000sqft in dimensions is for beginners and families. Other tracks that Polaris has in India include the ones at Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Chennai and Munnar. Polaris has plans to expand the number of off-road tracks to 25 in India by the end of this year.
Pankaj Dubey, managing director of Polaris India said, "Bengaluru has a rich racing culture and has a wide variety of terrains, hence the off-road vehicle segment has the potential for growth. We are pleased to start Polaris Experience Zone with Play and Target Games & Facilities to offer off-road motor experience to motor sports lovers in Bengaluru. Southern India is an important market for us as it contributes majorly towards our growth story in India and hence strategic for us. We foresee huge interest and potential in this market and plan to introduce more off-road tracks in Southern India. We plan to increase the number of such tracks from 13 to 25 by this year-end."
