Ola Electric surpasses 20,000 units sales mark in October
Ola Electric registered sales of 20,000 units in November 2022. With this, the brand has become the largest EV retailer in the country and is also the front-runner in the premium electric scooter segment. Notably, Ola Electric constituted a 50 per cent market share across ICE and EV two-wheelers in the previous month.
Ola Electric S1 Sales and Production
Ola recorded its highest-ever sales in October this year, retailing 20,000 units of the S1 electric scooters. As claimed, it was not only the highest monthly sales figures ever achieved by Ola Electric but also by any two-wheeler EV manufacturer in India. Ola S1 recently hit a 1,00,000 units production milestone within almost a year of the production commencement in November 2021. The company manufactures its electric scooters at its Krishnagiri plant in Tamil Nadu.
Ola Electric Experience Centre
Moreover, Ola Electric is also expanding its experience centres across India. It opened 14 new experience centres in the previous month. With this, the brand now has over 50 showrooms in the country. It further intends to open up to 200 touchpoints by the end of this year.
Ola Electric S1 Specification
The two-wheeler EV manufacturer presently sells three variants of the S1 electric scooter, including S1 Air, S1, and S1 Pro. The scooters offer a claimed travel range of 101km, 141km, and 181km, respectively. Other features include LED headlights, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, reverse mode, software over-the-air updates, and cruise control. The S1 Air, S1, and S1 Pro cost Rs 84,999, Rs 99,999, and Rs 1,39,999 (all ex-showroom), respectively.
