New Mini JCW Countryman breaks cover

The new and massive third-generation Mini Countryman is already here. Mini had just released the all-electric Countryman just a few months ago but this new JCW version of the car is no green car but rather features a 2.0-litre petrol engine that can do 0 to 100kmph in 5.4 seconds.

Mini JCW Countryman: Powertrain

Let's get back to that 2.0-litre engine. This powerplant is capable of producing 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque. As mentioned above, the John Cooper Works Countryman accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph. It sports a stylish design and ALL4 all-wheel drive.

The engine has been altered with new pistons and connecting rods, as well as a reworked air intake and dual-drive turbocharger.

Mini JCW Countryman: Design

The octagonal grille, elegant projector LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and a new emblem in black, red, and white distinguish the 2025 Mini JCW Countryman. The John Cooper Works distinguishes itself visually from other models owing to brilliant Chili Red highlights on the front end and LED headlights with a specific 'JCW Signature Mode.'

High-performance red callipers improve braking control, and wider 245mm tires placed on special 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) wheels improve traction in all conditions.

Mini JCW Countryman: Interior

The athletic idea continues inside with a mix of black and red accents, JCW sports seats, and a dashboard with two-tone recycled polyester cloth. Owners will now get access to new Mini Experience Modes via the primary touchscreen. This configuration will allow them to select options such as screen backgrounds and audio. A go-kart mode has also been introduced to liven up the driving experience and enhance the engine sound.

When fitted with the optional Driving Assistant Professional package, the JCW has 12 ultrasonic sensors and four surround-view cameras that not only help with parking but also enable Level 2 driver assistance.
