New Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select variant launched at Rs 18.89 lakh
Mahindra launched the new XUV700 AX5 Select (AX5 S) variant in India today. Priced at Rs 16.89 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), this new variant intends to offer additional features at a lower price.

Mahindra XUV700: Powertrain
The XUV700 gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel motor with two different configurations. Firstly, the petrol unit produces 200PS and 380Nm of torque, secondly, the diesel engine in the lower variants makes 155PS/360Nm, while the one available with higher-spec variants delivers 185PS. The torque output is rated at 420Nm (with MT) and 450Nm (with AT). Both engines can be paired with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmissions. Mahindra also offers an optional all-wheel drive system.
