New Honda Activa H-Smart variant launched in India at Rs 80,537
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd. has launched the new Activa H-Smart variant in India at Rs 80,537 (ex-showroom). This variant comes equipped with a wide range of car-like keyless functions. It is available in a choice of six paint options: Pearl Siren Blue, Black, Pearl Precious White, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. With this, the Activa lineup is offered in three variants: Standard, Deluxe, and H-Smart.
New Honda Activa H-Smart: Features
The new Activa H-Smart variant comes with a car-style key fob, unlike the conventional scooter key. For starters, it benefits from an anti-theft feature, which activates the immobiliser function when the smart key is not within two metres of the scooter.
Moreover, the owners can find the Activa at a parking lot with a push of the 'Answer Back Button' on the smart key, which flashes all four indicators twice. With this, the Activa can be located within 10 metres of the area. The smart key further allows the owner to lock/unlock the handlebar, open the fuel lid, and under-seat storage via a knob without taking out the smart key from the pocket. To start the engine, one needs to push the knob and rotate it to turn on/off the ignition sign. For this, the key needs to be within two metres distance of the scooter. Apart from the smart key, the Activa H-Smart gets redesigned rims.
New Activa H-Smart: Engine
The Activa H-Smart continues to be powered by the same 109.51cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor that generates 7.8PS and 8.9Nm of torque. Meanwhile, Honda will commence production of the Activa H-Smart in this week, while its deliveries are scheduled to take place by the end of February 2023.
