New Honda Activa 125 H-Smart teased ahead of launch
After introducing the Activa 6G H-Smart, Honda now appears to be readying to launch the Activa 125 H-Smart in India. The brand's official website has teased the new Activa 125 model, hinting that the scooter will get a smart key with H-Smart technology. Interestingly, Honda is referring to the upcoming Activa as Smartiva in the teaser picture.
New Honda Activa 125 H-Smart: Highlights
The new Activa with the smart key will get a variety of features similar to the Activa 6G H-Smart, such as smart find, smart start, smart unlock, and smart safe. The smart find function allows users to find their Activa at a parking place. It works when the scooter is within 10 meters away from the smart key. Further, the smart safe function automatically locks the scooter when the key fob is two meters away.
New Honda Activa 125 H-Smart: Prices and Rivals
Currently, the Activa 125 is available in three variants: Standard, Drum Alloy, and Disc, priced at Rs 77,743, Rs 81,411, and Rs 84,916 (all ex-showroom), respectively. Having said that, the upcoming Activa 125 H-Smart is likely to command slightly higher pricing over the Disc variant. Thus, it could be costlier by around Rs 4,000-5,000. Meanwhile, the Activa 125 compete against the TVS Jupiter 125, Suzuki Access 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid.

The upcoming Activa H-Smart is likely to continue with the 123.97cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine generating 8.29PS and 10.3Nm of torque.
