New Hero Xtreme 125R launched; prices start at Rs 95,000
Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Xtreme 125R at the Hero World 2024 event in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It has been priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) for the standard variant, while the ABS version costs Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new TVS Raider rival comes three colour options. Alongside the new Xtreme 125R, Hero also showcased the new Mavrick 440 roadster.
Hero Xtreme 125R: Design
The new Xtreme 125R appears the sportiest motorcycle in the Hero line-up when it comes to styling. It gets an aggressive-looking face with split DRLs and LED projector headlights, sharp cuts and creases on the side panels, split and step-up seat, sculpted fuel tank, and split grab rails. It comes in three paint options: blue, red, and black. However, the red and blue feature a touch of silver shade on the fuel tank.
Hero Xtreme 125R: Features and Specs
To start with, the Xtreme 125R gets an all-LED lighting, including daytime running lights, dual projector headlamp, indicators, and taillamp. Then, there is a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. In fact, this is the same as one on the Xtreme 160R 4V. Also on offer is a single-channel ABS, a 276mm front disc, a hazard light switch, and Showa-tuned telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
Hero Xtreme 125R: Engine, mileage, and power outputs
Powering the Xtreme 125R is the new 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 11.5PS and 10.6Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Above all, Hero claims that the motorcycle can deliver a mileage of 66kmpl.
