Hero MotoCorp has reportedly begun testing the Xpulse 210. In fact, the first spy pictures of the adventure motorcycle have also surfaced on the internet. According to some media reports, the new generation Xpulse 210 will leverage the Karizma XMR's liquid-cooled engine. Currently, the Xpulse 200 4V comes with a price tag of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), while the off-road-oriented Xpulse 200 4V Pro costs Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero Xpulse 210: Engine

A new engine is expected to be the crux of the next-gen Xpulse, offering it more power and improved performance on different terrains. The first batch of spy photographs shows a fully camouflaged Xpulse 210 adventure motorcycle equipped with a liquid-cooled engine, which is likely to be a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-valve DOHC engine that debuted with the all-new Karizma XMR. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, this motor can produce 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. For the Xpulse 210, the bike maker may tune up the liquid-cooled motor and gearbox to suit its purpose. The on-sale Xpulse 200 4V gets a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled unit that makes 19.17PS at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It comes paired with a five-speed gearbox. Notably, this liquid-cooled double overhead camshafts engine is a first for Hero MotoCorp.

Hero Xpulse 210: Design

As seen in the spy pictures, the heavily camouflaged Xpulse 210 appears similar to the current model. It gets a high-set fender, a circular LED headlamp with 'H' element, a long-travel suspension setup, and knobby tyres. The fuel tank appears slightly redesigned, while the indicators are LED units. Further, the adventure motorcycle could also use a new chassis or borrow that from the new Karizma XMR with some changes. If the spy photos are to go by, the riding posture on the upcoming Xpulse 210 is expcted to remain upright.

Hero Xpulse 210: Features and specifications

The 2023 Xpulse 200 4V gets a 276mm single front disc, a 220mm single rear disc setup, telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, single-channel ABS with three modes, a USB charging socket, LCD digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tyres. We expect Hero to offer the new-gen Xpulse 210 with better brakes, dual-channel ABS, slip-and-assist clutch, traction control, and a new Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster.

Hero Xpulse 210: Pricing

While the prices of the on-sale Xpulse range between Rs 1.45 and Rs 1.52 lakh, the new Xpulse 210 is anticipated to attract a higher premium.
