New Hero Karizma XMR 210 India launch on 29 Aug
Hero MotoCorp has released a new teaser of the launch of an upcoming offering via its social media handles. The teaser, captioned "witness the return of the legend," hints at the forthcoming release of the all-new Karizma XMR 210, scheduled for launch on 29th August 2023. Notably, Hero had previously showcased the production-spec motorcycle at a dealer conference, and its test mules have been spotted testing on multiple occasions.
New Hero Karizma XMR: Engine, Power Outputs, and Gearbox
The new Hero Karizma XMR 210 is likely to be powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. While details about its power outputs are currently unavailable, the motor is expected to produce approximately 25PS, similar to its rivals such as the KTM RC 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
New Hero Karizma XMR 210: Design and Colour
As mentioned earlier, Hero showcased the new Karizma XMR 210 at a dealer event, where a leaked picture of the bike went viral on the internet, revealing its bodywork and styling. Based on the leaked photo and some previous spy shots, the new Karizma XMR 210 will feature a sporty design language with aggressive bodywork, a muscular fuel tank, bright paint options - including the red colour seen in the leaked picture, a two-piece step-up seat, and a stubby exhaust.
New Hero Karizma XMR 210: Features and Specifications
Hero is likely to offer a digital LCD cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lights, and dual-channel ABS. In terms of hardware, the new Karizma XMR 210 could get a single-disc setup at both ends, telescopic front forks, and a rear monoshock. However, it would not be surprising if the motorcycle features an option of upside-down forks that debuted with the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
New Hero Karizma XMR 210: Prices and Rivals
We expect Hero MotoCorp to competitively price the upcoming new Karizma XMR 210 to rival the likes of the KTM RC 200 (Rs 2.18 lakh), Yamaha R15 V4 (Rs 1.82-1.95 lakh), Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 (Rs 1.92-2.06 lakh), and Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Rs 1.72 lakh) - all prices are ex-showroom. The prices of the new Hero Karizma XMR 210 could range between Rs 1.60 lakh and Rs 1.90 lakh.
