New BGauss C12i EX e-scooter launched in India at Rs 99,999
BGauss has extended its C12i electric vehicle line-up with the launch of the new C12i EX electric scooter in India at Rs 99,999 (introductory, ex-showroom). Notably, this introductory pricing will be valid until 19 September, 2023. Customers can now book the C12i EX either via the company's official website or by visiting any nearest dealership across the country. Available in seven colours, BGauss offers a five-year warranty on the C12i EX. Prospective buyers can also opt for EMI option to own the C12i EX with a down payment of Rs 6,197 and a monthly instalment of Rs 2,437.
BGauss C12i EX: Range, battery, and charging
Powering the new BGauss C12i EX is a detachable 2kWh paired with an electric motor that delivers a 2.5kW (3.40PS) and 105Nm of torque. Above all, it has an ARAI range of 85 on a full charge. Further, the C12i EX provides a top speed of 60kmph and can climb a gradient of up to 14 degrees. The e-scooter's battery pack and motor are completely water and dust proof and hence come with an IP67 rating. The company says that the battery can be charged to 100 per cent in three hours. It is to be noted that BGauss uses an in-house designed and developed battery pack and motor controller at its Chakan facility in Pune, Maharashtra.
BGauss C12i EX: Highlights
The electric scooter gets an LED headlight, LED indicators, daytime running light, a USB phone charging port, and an LCD instrument clusters. It has a 23-litre under seat storage, a bottle holder, and storage space underfoot with a lock. Meanwhile, the two-wheeler EV maker also said that the on-sale C12i MAX, priced at Rs 1,25,153 (ex-showroom), has already been delivered to around 6,000 customers in three months of its launch.
