Mercedes AMG CLE 53 Coupe launched at Rs 1.35 crore
The Mercedes AMG CLE 53 Coupe has been launched for Rs 1.35 crore ex-showroom and now the Mercedes AMG portfolio has 10 models.
The new Mercedes AMG CLE 53 Coupe uses a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, in-line, twin-turbo engine that comes coupled to a 48V mild hybrid system that pushes a whopping 449 PS of power and 560 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a nine-speed torque converter transmission unit that sends all that power to all the wheels via the Mercedes 4Matic+ system. Now, with all that power the company claims a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 4.2 seconds. And the top speed is locked at 270 kmph with the optional AMG package and with the standard setting it is locked at 250 kmph. The torque is hiked by 40 Nm with the overboost which bumps to 600 Nm of peak torque.
The interior features include a 12.3-inch digital dash, 11.9-inch vertically stacked infotainment unit that runs the latest MBUX multimedia system, AMG spec three-spoke flat bottom steering wheel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 64-colour ambient lighting, a Burmester sound system, a heads-up display, a wireless charger, AMG performance seats, AMG badges to name a few.
Exterior mentions include flared wheels arches, signature AMG radiator grille, 20-inch alloy wheels, quad exhaust pipes, strong lines on the bonnet to name a few.
The Mercedes AMG AMG CLE 53 is 4,853 mm long, 1,434 mm tall, and 2,042 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,875 mm. It has a 410-litre boot capacity, and it tips the scales at 2,000 kg.
