Mahindra XUV700 registers 25,000 bookings in just 57 minutes since going on sale
According to Mahindra, the new Mahindra XUV700 has clocked a total of 25,000 bookings in just 57 minutes since going on sale.
The Mahindra XUV700 was released with special launch pricing. The car will only be offered at this pricing for the first 25,000 bookings, according to Mahindra. The prices for the MX variant have now been increased by Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 for the petrol and diesel engines, respectively.
The 25,000 XUV700s offered at launch pricing, according to Mahindra, represent up to six months of manufacturing, depending on the model. Mahindra also states that they have received more than 2.6 lakh enquiries for the XUV700 in the past few weeks.
Bookings will resume on October 8 at 10 a.m. Customers may reserve their desired Mahindra XUV700 at its new very appealing pricing points via dealerships or internet channels for the next 25,000 bookings, after which prices at the time of delivery will prevail.
Mahindra has also recently announced the introduction of two new variants of the all-new Mahindra XUV700. There will now be two AX7 Luxury variants with a diesel powertrain, strictly made available only in a 7-seater configuration.
Veejay Nakra, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said, "We opened bookings at 10 am this morning. We are humbled and grateful for the response, in fact, thrilled that we have received 25000 XUV700 bookings in a record time of 57 minutes from its commencement. This constitutes up to six months of production depending on the variant at the committed launch prices. While we had anticipated the traffic and prepared our system with added server capacity, the overwhelming response could have regrettably led to a slow user experience by some of our customers."
