Mahindra XUV 7XO launched at Rs 13.66 lakh

The new Mahindra XUV 7XO has been launched at Rs 13.66 for the base model and the top model will set you back by Rs 24.92 lakh.

The new XUV 7XO is the XUV 700 facelift and it gets quite a few tweaks on the outside and inside alike. The exterior styling elements have been inspired by the XEV 9S and 9E, it gets a revised front grille, trapezoidal front LED headlamp unit flanked by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and new tail-lights at the rear. The profile boasts flush door handles, new alloy wheels, and faux roof rails. The rear section gets a redesigned bumper and a full-width tail-light.

Inside the cabin is the massive triple-screen setup which consist of the digital dash, the infotainment unit and a screen for the front passenger as well, each measures 12.3-inches. Other noteworthy mentions include wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, new two-spoke steering wheel, and new touch-panel for Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC).

The safety suite on the new Mahindra XUV 7XO offers a 540-degree camera view, seven-airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and Level 2 ADAS features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control to name a few.

In terms of powertrain, the new Mahindra XUV 7XO is offered with two engine options - a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre petrol engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter for both the engine options. The turbo petrol engine is good for 200 PS of power and the diesel engine pushes a good 185 PS.

The new Mahindra XUV 7XO locks horns with the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar to name a few.
