Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 Select variant launched in India at Rs 16.99 lakh
Mahindra has extended the Scorpio-N's variant list by introducing the 'Z8 Select' variant which will now be the entry point for the Z8 variant. This model will slot under the Z8 and Z8L variants and will be priced from Rs 16.99 lakh. The Z8 Select will be available with both petrol and diesel powertrains as well as manual and automatic transmissions to choose from.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Select: Highlights
The diesel engine option in the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 Select is the 2.2-litre mHawk unit that puts out 175PS and 370Nm when paired with the manual and 400 Nm with the six-speed automatic. The 2.0-lire petrol engine produces 200PS and 370Nm of torque with the six-speed manual and 380Nm with the automatic. However, none of these drivetrains in this Select version offer a 4-wheel drive system.
The Z8 Select also gets an exclusive Midnight Black colour over all the other variants. The rest of the features remain to be the same. You get full LED headlamps and foglamps, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, an 8-inch Infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 17.78 cm colour TFT cluster, featuring Adrenox Connect with 60+ connected car functionalities, built-in Alexa a sunroof, disc brakes all around, 6-airbags, ABS and ESC. This variant does miss out on stuff like push-button start and TPMS.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 Select variant will be available at dealerships from March 1, 2024.
