Lotus Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary edition details out, priced at GBP 79,900

British sports car manufacturer, Lotus has rolled out a special edition model, the Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary, which as the name suggests commemorates 20 years of the Exige Series 1 - the ultra-lightweight performance coupe, designed, engineered and hand-built in Hethel, Norfolk. Lotus has priced this special edition offering at £79,900 that translates to an approximate Rs 74.77 lakh, excluding the import duty and taxes. While there are no changes in the mechanicals, Lotus confirms that Anniversary edition gets £5,412 (approx. Rs 5.06 lakh) worth of extras over the standard Sport 410.

Paying a tribute to the original, the Anniversary edition comes with body-coloured roof, side air intake pods and rear wing, plus the black shark fin stone chip protector ahead of the rear wheel. Inside, there are different Alcantara trims to choose from, wherein the seats get panelled stitching. Also, there are  20th Anniversary black silhouette logo featuring a profile image of the Series 1 on the side and the rear profiles as well embroidered on the seat backs and embossed on the car's dashboard.

Taking its colour options form the Exige Series 1, the Anniversary model can be optioned with three bespoke exterior colours - Chrome Orange, Laser Blue and Calypso Red. Also, on offer are Saffron Yellow reminiscent of the original Norfolk Mustard Yellow, Motorsport Black and Arctic Silver. Powering it is a 410PS/420Nm making 3.5-litre V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. As a part of standard equipment, the Exige comes with Nitron three-way adjustable dampers with variable bump and re-bound settings.

Also, the front splitter, front access panel and rear tailgate are made from carbon fibre. The optional £5,412 goodies include DAB digital radio with Bluetooth, cruise control, ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels and an Alcantara steering wheel. Additionally, there are carbon fibre sill trim, lightweight lithium-ion battery and titanium lightweight exhaust.
