Lightning McQueen on display in India
Remember the protagonist of the animated movie CARS and CARS II? With a voice-over given by actor Owen Wilson, the Lightning McQueen car shot to fame instantly and was a hit world-wide. Kids love it and so do the grown-ups. For this very reason, Simba and Exelixi Management Company are bringing in a life-size Lightning McQueen to malls in Mumbai so that those young at heart can actually see and experience it up close and personal. The Lightning McQueen has also done tours before in Middle East and various other territories but is coming to India for the first time. Simba has a wide ranging set of licenses for 'Cars' and these toys sare one of the best selling items at all their stores across the country. With CARS III on the cards in the near future, this promotion will help them keep the characters in the movie and their relevance alive, so say Exelixi's co-founders Amit Chaudhary and Prasar Sharma.
Lightning McQueen will speed its way to other cities in India like Bangalore and Delhi as well.
