Kia Seltos: Variants explained

Kia India has taken the wraps off the facelifted Seltos in the country. The carmaker will commence pre-bookings for the updated mid-size SUV on 14 July 2023, with a launch expected to take place next month.

Kia has also included its new 160PS and 253Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with this upgrade. The new engine will be paired with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The 115PS, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 116PS, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine will remain in the Seltos facelift. The former will be available with a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission, while the latter will be available with a 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
