Jaguar open bookings for the I-Pace Black edition
The Jaguar I-Pace is one of the early electric SUV's to come to India and its outstanding design has received numerous international acclaim and several accolades. Jaguar India has now commenced the bookings for the new Jaguar I-Pace Black in India.
The all-electric performance SUV has an exclusive new addition in the form of the Jaguar I-Pace Black. The new black edition come as standard with the Black Pack and the panoramic roof as well as a few of the extra features.
With gloss black accents and an ebony interior as standard, the Jaguar I-Pace Black accentuates an already aesthetically attractive appearance. The 19-inch Diamond turned with gloss dark grey contrast wheels sets this exclusive edition apart from the regular I-Pace.
There is no change to the powertrain of the I-Pace Black. A 90kWh lithium-ion battery powers this EV, which is powered by two electric motors (one on each axle) with a combined output of 395PS and 696 Nm of torque. From a standstill, the performance packed Jaguar can reach speeds of 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds.
Matrix LED headlights, LED tail lights, adaptive cruise control, motorised tailgate, Meridian audio system, 3D surround camera, leather sports seats and a touchscreen interface for the AC controls are some of the features that come loaded on the Jaguar I-Pace.
The 100kW quick charger can charge the Jaguar I-Pace from zero to 80 percent in 40 minutes, but the 7.4 kW AC wall charger will take 10 hours to charge up to 80 percent. According to the manufacturer, a full charge will provide a range of 470 kilometres (WLTP rated).

The I-Pace Black comes in a variety of vibrant hues, including premium metallic paints like Aruba and Farallon Pearl black. The Jaguar I-Pace range starts at Rs 1.05 crore.
