Hyundai Venue completes the sale of 3 lakh units
Hyundai Motor India said on Thursday that the Hyundai Venue, which was originally introduced in the market in 2019, has sold over 3 lakh units.
The compact dimensions of the Hyundai Venue have made it popular with consumers who mostly travel inside city limits on a regular basis. Hyundai has continued to bet big on variety at a time when several rivals have chosen a petrol-only strategy, and the Venue is yet another vehicle from the Koreans to offer both petrol and diesel engine options.
The Hyundai Venue is available with three engine options that include a 1.2-litre NA petrol motor, 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor. The 1.2-litre NA version, which produces 82PS and 114 Nm of torque, is offered only with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel mill produces 99PS and 240 Nm of torque and is paired to a 6-speed manual unit or a 6-speed automatic unit. The 1.0-litre TGDi engine produces 118PS and 172 Nm of torque and comes mated to an iMT unit or a 7-speed DCT unit.
The Hyundai Venue was available in four trim levels at launch: E, S, SX, and SX(O), as well as 13 wide variations.
The Hyundai Venue has an electric sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver seat, Hyundai BlueLink connectivity, wireless charging, cruise control, rear AC vents and a sliding front arm rest on the inside.
The Hyundai Venue might possibly add to its strong sales statistics in the future, with the debut of the upgraded Venue set for next month. Prices for the Hyundai Venue start at Rs 7.11 lakh (ex-showroom).
