Hyundai launches 2023 Venue in India at Rs 7.68 lakh
South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched the 2023 Venue in India with prices starting at Rs 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The new more powerful 1.5-litre diesel engine is the key highlight of the updated SUV. Meanwhile, the updated Venue is available in six variants, namely E, S, S+, S(O), SX, and SX(O).
2023 Hyundai Venue RDE-compliant diesel engine
The 2023 Venue gets an updated 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel motor that produces 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Not only the engine is RDE-compliant (Real Driving Emissions) but is also compatible with E20 fuel. Notably, Hyundai has equipped this motor with a variable-geometry turbocharger.
The 2023 Venue carries forward the 1.0-litre inline-three turbo-petrol engine and 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated motor. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, iMT (clutchless manual), and dual-clutch automatic.
2023 Hyundai Venue features updates
For the first time, the Venue boasts idle engine start/stop technology. In addition, Hyundai now offers the side airbags as standard from S(O) variants, while the six airbags are available in SX(O) variants. Further, the rear seat recline function and rear armrest with cup holders are now available in SX and SX(O) petrol, along with SX(O) diesel. Whereas, SX diesel misses out on the said rear seat features. Meanwhile, the brand now provides 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels exclusively in SX(O) variants.
