Hyundai Exter to get eight-inch touchscreen, digital cluster, and Bluelink features

Hyundai has officially revealed that the upcoming Exter will come with a host of features, Including Bluelink connected car technology, and preset voice commands, and Alexa-enabled Hindi and English Home to Car voice command. The recently leaked pictures showed the Grand i10 Nios-inspired interior design of the Exter. Notably, Hyundai will launch the Exter in India on 10 July, 2023.

Hyundai Exter features revealed

The most prominent features in the Exter will be an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with in-built navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch colour TFT MID, cruise control, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Also on offer will be Hyudai's Bluelink with over 60 connected car features, covering services such as safety and security, remote access, location-based functions, vehicle diagnostics, and voice assistance.

Plus, it will come with 90 embedded voice commands, software over-the-air updates, Home to Car (H2C) voice commands in Hindi and English with Alexa, 10 Indian and two international languages support for infotainment system, and seven ambient sounds of nature. Apart from that, the Exter will get semi-leatherette upholstery with embroidered 'Exter' lettering.

Hyundai Exter Variants and colours

Hyundai will offer the new SUV with a range of variants: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect, across distinctive single-tone and dual-tone paint schemes. Its colour options will include Titan Grey, Ranger Khaki, Cosmic Blue, Starry Night, Fiery Red, and Atlas White, including Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black, and Atlas Black with Abyss Black.

Hyundai Exter Powertrain

The Exter will be powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. It is likely to produce 83PS and 114Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a five-speed manual or an AMT automatic. Expect Hyundai to offer a CNG version.
