Hyundai India has officially teased the upcoming special edition of its extremely successful SUVs, the Creta and Alcazar. To be called the Adventure Edition, both cars will get a number of cosmetic upgrades but no mechanical updates. This will also be the first special edition for the Alcazar and the second for Creta as it already had the Knight Edition. Expect the cars to be launched in the early days of September.

Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition Exterior, Interior and Features

According to the teasers released by Hyundai, the new Ranger Khaki colour choice, which made its debut on the new Exter, will be available on the Adventure edition for the Creta and Alcazar. Additionally, the special version will include wheels with red brake callipers and a black finish. The roof and grille of the two SUVs are also completely blacked up.

Hyundai hasn't yet hinted at the interior of these Adventure Edition models, but we anticipate it to be all-black with some green accents, similar to the Exter. The feature list won't change, which is good because both of these models are packed to the brim with features.

A panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and a wireless phone charger are just a few of the highlights. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Alcazar also offers a full 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster as well. Six airbags, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are among the safety features they receive.

Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition Powertrains

A 1.5-litre petrol engine with 115 PS and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 116 PS are available for the Creta. Standard transmissions are 6-speed manuals; automatic transmission choices for the gasoline and diesel engines, respectively, include CVTs and 6-speed torque converters.

The Alcazar, on the other hand, comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 160 PS and a 116 PS diesel engine. A 6-speed manual is likewise the norm here and if you prefer an automatic transmission, you may choose between a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with the diesel engine.

Prices for the Creta and Alcazar range from Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh for the Creta and Rs 16.77 lakh to Rs 21.12 lakh for the Alcazar (ex-showroom). Expect the Adventure Editions to cost a little more.
