Honda CB500X price reduced by Rs 1 lakh

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has just reduced the price of the CB500X by a massive Rs 1.07 lakh, bringing down the cost of the ADV-styled bike to around Rs 5.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Yup, that's a far cry from the tall order of Rs 6.87 lakh the CB500X, which is brought to the country a CKD unit, demanded post its launch last year.

Now, before you run off in search of the BigWing showroom closest to you, you should know that this price reduction is for the (now) slightly old CB500X model while the 2022 CB500X model, which has launched in markets abroad, is expected to arrive to our shores very soon. We wouldn't expect the price of the new bike to remain the same when it arrives though. The 2022 MY CB500X is seen to feature a USD fork, new wheels, twin petal discs up front, a revised swingarm and two new colour options. Think of it as a HMSI clearance sale if you will, seeing as most interested in the CB500X were understandably put off by the price tag.

We had recently ridden the CB500X up to the Atal Tunnel. Click here to read the article.
