Honda has revealed its new-value MPV concept vehicle, christened 'Concept M' at the Auto Shanghai 2013. Designed by its R & D centre based in Japan, Honda is likely to launch a mass production MPV based on the 'Concept M' by 2014. The Japanese auto major intends to launch the MPV specifically in China. Honda claims that its 'Concept M' based MPV will offer New-Value to the segment by virtue of having a spacious and comfortable cabin for the passengers and a fun driving experience.

At the Honda stand, the Crider a sedan based on its 'Concept C' was also on display. According to the company officials, the Crider is expected to be launched in China by sometime in June this year. The 'Concept C' was originally showcased at the Beijing Motor Show last year. The Crider has also been developed specifically for the China vehicle market but by the Chinese associates of Honda.

Honda also displayed its Jade, a new passenger mover based on its 'Concept S' which was also revealed at last year's Beijing Motor Show. Honda intends to have the Jade on sale by sometime in September this year. The Jade has also been specifically developed for the China automobile market and apparently draws its inspiration from a jade stone with beautiful exteriors and quality interiors. The interesting bit though is that Honda India is looking at a Jazz-based MPV. From the look of it, the Jade looks perfect for the job. But we will have to wait till 2014 to know about this.
