Giles Taylor is the new design director for Rolls-Royce
Rolls Royce has appointed Giles Taylor as its new design director. He replaces Ian Cameron, who has held the post since 1999. Taylor brings with him an immense wealth of experience having being the executive designer for Jaguar for 10 years. He joined the Rolls-Royce design team as head of exterior design in 2011 and will now report to BMW's senior VP for design Adrian van Hooydonk. Ian Cameron, who has been with BMW since 1992, will remain with the BMW group dedicating his time to Rolls-Royce global heritage matters as brand ambassador till his retirement in April next year.
