Built on the image of the successful 9e, the 9S is all set to push the boundaries of what a family-friendly EV can be. The cabin is further elevated by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, offering an immersive sound experience that not only places this eSUV right at the top of the segment but also gets it to punch higher into segments above.

For comfort and practicality, Mahindra has added sliding second-row seats, allowing flexible legroom management between rows. The rear-powered seat with Boss Mode delivers the premium chauffeur-driven experience. The biggest highlight, however, is the massive openable panoramic skyroof, one of the largest in its class, that amplifies the sense of space and roominess in the cabin.

In terms of safety and driver assistance, the XEV 9S is equipped with ADAS Level 2+, the likes of which we have seen on the XEV 9e, enhancing both safety and convenience on city and highway drives. The Mahindra XEV 9e packs features like an AR head-up display, AI-powered driver monitoring via an in-car camera, OTA updates, 7 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, NFC-based locking/unlocking, remote parking, and more. The 9S is expected to build on that and more.
