Mahindra Launches the Worlds First Formula E-Themed Special Edition SUV. BE 6 Formula E Edition

Mahindra has initiated a new chapter in India's motorsport-inspired mobility with the launch of the BE 6 Formula E Edition, the world's first Formula E-themed special-edition electric SUV. Priced at ?23.69 lakh for the FE2 and ?24.49 lakh for the FE3, the new variant brings the thrill of the FIA Formula E World Championship directly to Indian roads

Booking for the SUV opens on January 14, 2026, with deliveries set to begin a month later. In a unique gesture, Mahindra is offering assured exclusive benefits to the first 999 customers, while three lucky buyers will win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the London E-Prix 2026 with paddock access and a meet-and-greet with the Mahindra Racing and MADE teams

Built on Mahindra's strong motorsport legacy, including being the only Indian team to win on the global Formula E grid, the BE 6 Formula E Edition celebrates a rapidly rising motorsport culture in India. With racing now influencing youth identity, lifestyle, and entertainment, Mahindra aims to bring this adrenaline-charged world into everyday mobility.

Visually, the SUV stands out with aggressive aerodynamics and motorsport-dedicated styling. Highlights include a signature front bumper with circular projector headlamps, Firestorm Orange accents, racetrack-inspired R20 alloy wheels, Formula E decals, FIA branding, and the striking 12-stripe graphics stretching across the fixed glass roof and bonnet. The interior continues the high-performance aesthetic with vibrant Firestorm Orange themes, Formula E branding on seats and dashboard, a race-car-style start/stop flap, translucent door inserts and a custom Formula E startup animation and soundscape

Under the hood, the variant retains the BE 6's powerful electric drivetrain. The SUV produces 285 PS (210 kW), sprints from 0–100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 202 km/h. The 79 kWh battery delivers a 500 km real-world range, supported by race-mode-inspired torque delivery and fast-charging capability. Features such as dual 12.3-inch screens, Harman/Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, SonicSuite virtual engine sounds, 5G connectivity, advanced ADAS, adaptive suspension (in FE3), and an array of convenience features reinforce its premium tech-first positioning
