Citroen eC3 interior spied; reveals new details
The upcoming Citroen eC3 was recently spotted again. This time, the spy photo revealed the interior details. The French automaker has already confirmed the eC3 name for its new EV and is expected to unveil it sometime this month.
Citroen eC3 Interior
As seen in the spy photo, it is not surprising to say that the interior of the new eC3 bears a close resemblance to the ICE C3. The steering wheel, dashboard layout, centre console, air-con vents, and switches on the centre console appear identical to the on-sale C3. Notably, the eC3 also retains the conventional ignition switch instead of the start/stop button. However, the electric hatchback gets a new toggle switch.
Citroen may offer the eC3 with a multifunctional steering wheel, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electronically adjustable outside rearview mirrors and windows, a rear wiper, and a handful of other features. It is hard to say whether the electric hatchback will come with multi-regen modes.
Citroen eC3 Exterior
The all-electric eC3 prototype has been spotted several times in India, revealing its exterior. It carries forward more or less the same exterior design as the ICE counterpart. The production-ready eC3 could feature EV-specific design elements, such as a closed-off grille. In addition, the brand might offer it with distinctive alloy wheels.
Citroen eC3 Electric powertrain
The official battery pack, driving range, and power output figures of the eC3 have not been revealed yet. However, we expect the EV to feature a sizable battery that would enable a travel range of 250-300km.
