Prior to the upcoming launch, Tata Motors has opened bookings for the 2023 Harrier and Safari available for Rs 30,000 token amount. At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors showcased what new features these SUVs will get onboard and it seems like they won't be wasting time to hit the market.

Tata is unlikely to make any visual updates, but the interiors of the new SUVs will have a variety of new amenities. As exhibited at the Auto Expo, a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a seven-inch completely digital instrument cluster will replace the current 8.8-inch model.

Furthermore, ADAS features will be made available for the Safari and Harrier siblings as well. This will be a first for a Tata vehicle and will have active safety features including lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with collision warning, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, and forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking.

Tata Motors need to adapt the 170PS 2-litre diesel engine to comply with tougher pollution criteria because the RDE norms take effect in April. It should be combined with the six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, just like previously. Later down the road, the SUVs will also feature Tata's 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine.

Tata has said that the Dark Red edition cars seen at Auto Expo are real, and we anticipate seeing them at the time of launch. It is mostly highlighted in black with several red accents both inside and outside.
