Bajaj Auto has introduced a special festive offer for its popular electric scooter, the Chetak, targeting customers in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Prospective buyers in these states can now purchase the Chetak at a reduced price of Rs 1,15,000. It's important to note that this special pricing is valid only while stocks last. Furthermore, the Chetak electric scooter is now available on the e-commerce platform Amazon, with special offers for customers in Bangalore and Chennai.
Bajaj Chetak Range, Battery, and Charging
The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is equipped with a 2.9kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor. It offers a range of 108km, based on the ARAI test cycle. Charging the Chetak to full capacity takes approximately five hours, and the scooter has a top speed of 63kmph.
Bajaj Chetak Features and Specifications
The Chetak e-scooter boasts a fully digital LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity, a front disc brake, 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, regenerative braking, a reverse mode, a USB charging port, and all-LED lighting, among other features.
The Chetak electric scooter has consistently been one of the best-selling models in the electric scooter category. In the previous month, Bajaj reported sales of 7,045 units of the Chetak, a significant increase compared to the 4,035 units sold in September 2022. This performance positions the Chetak as the fourth best-selling e-scooter in September 2023, following the Ola S1, TVS iQube, and Ather 450X. In August of the same year, the company delivered 6,575 Chetak units.
