Audi has launched the Audi Q6 e-tron, which features the most recent second-generation digital OLED technology for its headlights and taillights. The Q6 e-tron will be positioned below the flagship Q8 e-tron and will make its official global debut soon.

Audi Q6 e-tron: Design

The front design of the Q6 e-tron literally tells you that it is the younger sibling of the more aggressive-looking Q8 e-tron. The Q6 e-tron sports double-layered headlights and the front bumper has cuts and creases. The grille is big and the new Audi 2D emblem, like the carmaker's other recent models, is likely to include back-lit LED lighting. The primary headlights, on the other hand, have a traditional, Audi-like shape.

The rear of the Q6 e-tron gets familiar design elements as well, and it looks pretty similar to the more current Audis, with features such as a full-width LED light bar, a huge diffuser at the back, and sharp-looking tail lamps.

Audi Q6 e-tron: Powertrain

The Audi Q6 e-tron will be offered in Standard and Sport trim levels and will be built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform. A 100 kWh battery and two electric motors will power the Q6 e-tron, producing 375PS -396PS (Standard) and 483PS - 510PS (Sport). The Audi Q6 e-tron, which is equipped with Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive technology, will have a WLTP range of up to 600 km.

The Sport model accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 5 seconds.

Audi Q6 e-tron: Lighting Technology

With the introduction of digital OLED rear lights of the second generation, the Audi Q6 e-tron has an exceptional light design that goes beyond lighting. Customers may now select from a variety of digital light signatures for both the Matrix LED headlights and the digital OLED rear lights for the first time.

The Q6 e-tron has digital daytime running lights with 61 separate segments as part of Audi's newest lighting technology, while the second-generation OLED tail-lights have 60 segments per OLED tile. Audi claims that the taillights, which have 360 distinct elements in six OLED tiles, have a dynamic active light capability that allows the lowest half of the taillight to show warnings without compromising overall brightness.

With its clever lighting features, the Audi Q6 e-tron elevates safety to a whole new level. The communication light is embedded into the digital OLED rear lights of the vehicle. Notifying other drivers of impending accidents or breakdowns. The communication light is activated by a variety of warning signals for various emergency circumstances, increasing the safety of all road users.
