Aprilia Racing dominates the Brazil Race in Moto GP
Aprilia Racing delivered a landmark performance at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia Ayrton Senna, securing a dominant one-two finish and extending its early-season momentum in the MotoGP championship.

Leading the charge was Marco Bezzecchi, who converted his front-row start into a commanding victory. The Italian surged into the lead at the opening corner and controlled the race from start to finish, claiming the first-ever MotoGP win at the Brazilian circuit. The result also marked Bezzecchi's fourth consecutive Grand Prix victory, following the wins at Portimão, Valencia and Buriram earlier in the season.
The streak puts Bezzecchi in elite company. He becomes only the fifth rider in the modern MotoGP era to win four Grands Prix in a row, joining legends such as Valentino Rossi, Marc Márquez, Jorge Lorenzo, and Francesco Bagnaia.
The victory was also significant for Aprilia. It was Bezzecchi's fifth win in the premier class with the manufacturer including his triumph at Silverstone last year, making him the most successful Aprilia rider in MotoGP's top category. For the Italian marque, the race delivered its tenth victory in the modern premier class and the fourth in succession.

Completing the historic result was Jorge Martín, who finished second to seal Aprilia's second factory one-two finish in MotoGP, the first since the Montmeló race in 2023. The podium also marked Martín's return to the rostrum after a long 490-day gap and his first Sunday podium finish since joining Aprilia.
Beyond the factory team, Aprilia machinery also impressed across the grid. Riders from the Trackhouse MotoGP Team delivered strong results, with Ai Ogura finishing fifth and Raúl Fernández securing tenth place. That meant four Aprilia bikes finished inside the top ten.
Bezzecchi admitted the victory exceeded his expectations after a challenging start to the weekend. The Italian explained that the team made major improvements overnight, allowing him to feel competitive again on race day. He dedicated the win to Roberto Lunadei, who passed away last week.
Martín, meanwhile, credited extensive preparation and teamwork within the garage for his strong performance. The Spaniard highlighted how working closely with Bezzecchi and sharing feedback on the RS-GP26 has helped accelerate development of the bike. He said "I'm not surprised by the result because there was a lot of hard work behind it. I knew that, once I was back to full fitness, I would have the speed. The thing that surprises me the most is how quickly I'm adapting to the RS-GP26."
Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola praised both riders and the team's turnaround after a difficult Friday. He described the result as a perfect Sunday for the squad, while also noting that upcoming races at Austin and Jerez would offer a clearer picture of the competitive order this season. He said "A fantastic job by Marco who, along with his team, managed to transform a complicated Friday so much that he barely missed pole position and, with a perfect start, took the lead straight away for an undisputed win. It was a perfect Sunday with Jorge once again on the podium."
After two rounds, Aprilia Racing now leads both the manufacturers' and team standings. For the first time in its MotoGP history, the brand also has two riders occupying the top two positions in the championship table - a sign of the growing strength of the Noale-based project in the premier class.
