2026 Tata Punch facelift launched at Rs 5.59 lakh
The 2026 Tata Punch facelift has been launched at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh for the base model, apart visual changes on the inside and outside, the brand has introduced a new turbo petrol engine. And bookings are open from 13 January 2026.

The brand has now introduced a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that is good for 120 PS and 170 Nm of peak torque. The engine is offered with a six-speed manual transmission only, no automatic gearbox has been offered with this engine. The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 11.1 seconds. Other engine options include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that pushes 88 PS and 115 Nm of peak torque. And a CNG engine that makes 73 PS and 103 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options for both includes a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. The AMT gearbox is a new offering for the CNG powertrain.

The interior features include new 2-spoke steering wheel with gloss-black finish at the centre with the illuminated Tata logo, new touch-control climate control panel, new extendable thigh support for front and rear seats, a new 7-inch digital driver's dash, new 360-degree camera, and new eight-speaker sound system.
Other mentions include a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, wireless phone charger, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, and auto headlamps to name a few. The safety suite includes six-airbags as standard, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, hill hold and hill descent control, and rear parking sensors to name a few.
In terms of exterior changes, the DRLs have been tweaked a little but the triangular and vertically stacked headlamp housing has not changed. The DRLs flank a gloss-black panel with the Tata logo at its centre. The lower part of the front bumper gets a silver finish for the air intakes and the bumpers (both front and rear) has been finished in black. At the rear, the bumper gets a faux skidplate and a light bar that runs the width of the car, flanked by the LED tail lights. The 2026 Tata Punch facelift is available in a total of six colourways: Daytona Grey, Caramel, Pristine White, Coorg Clouds, Cyantafic, and Bengal Rouge.
